How to stay warm and stylish in winter

Winter is here, and it’s time to get serious about your winter style. Sure, you’ve got a great coat that keeps you warm, but did you know there are some other small changes you can make to your wardrobe that will help keep you both stylish and warm? Let’s look at some of the ways this can be done.

First on our list for staying warm in winter is your hair. This might not seem like something that would have much effect on how warm you are with Chrome Hearts Hoodie in the cold weather, but think again! When it comes to keeping yourself insulated in the coldest months of the year, nothing holds heat in better than long hair with lots of volumes. So before venturing outdoors this winter, give yourself a quick blow-dry and style.

Next, we’re going to talk about scarves. Even if you already own a great winter coat, you can still keep your neck warm when it’s freezing out by wearing a long scarf that covers the majority of it. There are lots of ways to wear scarves in winter, but one of our favorites is with a simple black dress – just pick an outfit that fits the weather accordingly!

Finally, let’s discuss hats. No need to go overboard here, but putting on a hat is another great way to stay warm when it gets really cold out. A hat is also one of your most effective defenses against rain in winter so be sure to have at least one basic hat in every color available in your wardrobe.

LOOKS YOU CAN WEAR:

Dark colors, over-sized coats/cloaks that cover most of your body, lots of volume in your hair

Examples: long black boots, a coat with a high collar and a belt around the waist, a dark scarf, a dark blue or gray wool hat

BONUS TIP:

Avoid wearing hats with logos on them as it can be difficult to keep them from getting wet in harsh weather conditions.

Light colors (if you’re into that), scarves worn at waist-length or shorter, short hair with a little bit of volume

Examples: Chelsea Boots made from materials other than leather, a long coat with a belt around the waist, a scarf tied around the neck, no hat

Logos on hats are fine as they will have less of an opportunity to get wet.

In conclusion, there’s no need to be cold this winter! Use these tips and tricks to stay both warm and stylish all season long. Be sure to check back next week for another article on fashion trends.
