Ontario PNP invites Express Entry candidates in new Tech Draw

 The Ontario PNP held a tech draw asking for applications from express entry candidates for the provincial nominations.

In what was the largest draw, over 1200 invitations were sent out to eligible candidates on the 29th of July.

 The invites (Express Entry Candidates) had to have system scores upwards of four hundred and sixty-three points to get a call to apply.

This was by far the most massive draw this year.

The candidates are expected to have some form of knowledge,at minimum, one of Canadas in demand occupations apart from a description in the entry system.

The occupations include:

  • Web design and development
  • Computer Engineering
  • Information and Computer System Management
  • Database analysis and data administration
  • Computer programming
  • Software Engineering and Design

Whoever bags the Ontario nomination will have a boost of 600 extra points on the final scores.

The award will,in effect, guarantee the invitees a chance to utilize permanent Canadian citizenship application in a latter draw.

How Does One Get Invited to the Draw?

Only candidates who had already built a form of description in the system that oversees foreign applications for citizenship.

The CRS ranks the candidates in the Express Entry System basing on their age, the language they are fluent in, work experience, and level of education. The proficiency should be in either French or English.

These Express Entry system candidates are the ones who are invited to try their luck for an Ontario provincial nomination.

You need to be in the tech industry or have a tech background to be considered.

The process aims to ease the stressof Canadian tech companies hiring highly qualified staff from all corners of the world. That is, together with providing talented workers with a chance to utilize their skills.
